Community Foundation Preserve at Eagle Point
This preserve is a vital portion of freshwater marshland along Ohio's northern coastline, which offers visitors an excellent site for viewing wildlife. Sixty-five species of birds, including neotropical migrant warblers, have been observed in the park. It also provides a native stronghold for an American eagle population. Visitors may see the majestic birds soaring above or perched on a tree limb all year-round. During the sensitive eagle nesting season, Jan-Jul, human activity in the preserve is very limited and some areas may be restricted.

DuPont Marsh State Nature Preserve
Take a leisurely hike near the Huron River while observing birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. Admire blooming dogwood in spring and blazing maples in the fall. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing along the designated trails.
